Description

1) ACL tear: The ACL is the main ligament of the knee which when torn is treated by arthroscopic ACL reconstruction using many autografts. 2) PCL tear: PCL avulsion tears are treated by arthroscopic PCL reconstruction or repair. 3) Meniscal tears and cysts: various meniscal tears are treated by partial meniscectomy or by all inside technique of meniscal repair using suture anchors.Decompression of meniscal cyst are also done by arthroscopic technique. 4) Discoid meniscus 5) MCL & LCL injuries: These injuries usually happens along with other ligament injuries which leads to multiplanar instability. Both intraarticular and extraarticular approach is used to treat these injuries 6) MPFL tears: In acute patella dislocation, there are chances of injuring medial patelofemoral ligament, which is treated arthroscopicaly by repairing with tapes and anchors. 7) PLC injury: psterolateral corner injury are traumatic injuries of knee which are associated with lateral knee instability and usually present with PCL injury. 8) Knee cartilage lesions: many articular cartilage defects, with osteonecrosis of knee (SONK) and plicaes are treated with arthroscopy intervention with the help of orthobiologics.
